I'm a journalist and I stayed five years ago in a wonderful village near San Cristobal, Rio Florido. It was up in the mountains, on the way to Ocosingo. I'm wondering if, in this horrible and dramatic period, someone of you can tell me something about what can be happened in that village, that I remember like one of the nicest I've never visited and I remember those children, the most wonderful people I met during my reportages around the world. If someone can tell me something, I would appreciate it. Rio Florido is a 70 families village: they are called Mendez or Hernandez. To you all who are fighting and suffering my respect and best wishes.
