The RTF/COM 309 Computer Security Web Site

Six volunteers from the Spring 1996 Communication Technology and Society course have brought together information about various issues involving the security of computer based telecommunications. These issues are quite likely to affect you as you make your way into the age of digital information.

Please browse through the pages connected to one or more of the topics above. Each separate issue includes a page of questions for further discussion, and we encourage you to think about these questions and send us your comments, thoughts or conclusions on any or all of them.

The pages which have been collected here were designed by (and are intended for) lower division students who are participating in an introductory course about new communication technologies. The students who designed this site are participating in an exploration of distance education using the WWW as a channel of communication between college instructors and students around the country.

Please visit the WWW sites of the other participating schools and have a look around. We welcome your feedback.
