My background: well, one Spring morning in Austin, I was born backwards– legs first. Before my infant head saw life outside my mama’s womb, I pooped on the doctor. He yelled “what a mess!”  Later I rode Bevo, went to school, and even was the Queen of the Circus.  I graduated from Trinity University in 1997 with a useful degree in English Lit.  In 2007, I began graduate studies at UT Austin so I can become a professor. Between official school times, I mainly worked in nonprofit with children/youth in residential facilities.  (I did, however, one desperate season, help Bush make sure no child was left behind by grading standardized tests.)
