Zapatista Women: Video

A 30-minute video entitled "Zapatista Women" is available for sale and distribution. It was produced in1994 and includes interviews with women insurgents of the Zapatista National Liberation Army (EZLN). In this piece, they speak of what it means to be indigenous women in Mexico, how they came to be in the EZLN, how their lives are within the army, and what their struggle is about. It is in Spanish with English subtitles. It is a very good video for educating the public about the EZLN directly. To obtain a copy do the following:
