My name is Lauren Tucker, and I’m currently a photojournalism student at the University of Texas. I plan to graduate in Decemeber and at that point venture into the real world. Until then, I’ve decided to dive into the realm of Weird Science.
But more about me first. I’ve always lived my life with my camera by my side, and it really took me until I was about 17 to realize that photography was something I was actually good at and actually wanted to do. I transferred from the University of Georgia to Austin to pursue it, and I haven’t regretted a moment of it. I love Austin and I love the people I’ve met since moving out here.
Other than that, I just try to grab life by the horns (no UT pun intended) and see where it takes me. I try not to think too much about where the future will take me and what I could be doing 5, 10, or 50 years down the road. I don’t even know what I’m going to be doing this summer yet…
So here’s my site. An entire three or four pages dedicated to the craziest (well, not too crazy) things I can come up with in the short time a semester holds. I hope you enjoy my projects as much as I’ve enjoyed making them!
