This page is dedicated to Kevin Endres’s (alias: Derek N. Vines) ACTlab projects for the Soundscapes class of Fall 2009. Kevin Endres studied English and French at the University of Texas and enjoyed getting his hands dirty for the first time in the ACTlab. He has started a production company called Deaf Pedophile Industries, which came from a misunderstanding where someone thought that a Deaf Pedestrians street sign was warning motorists of Deaf Pedophiles in the area. His company shoots/edits video, creates/edits music, designs clothing (all “Keep Austin Keep” shirts were handmade at DPI), and hopefully in the future, will contain a Deaf Pedal-phile Industries branch which is dedicated to the manufacture and sale of guitar pedals.
