My dogs- I've put them on line out of the joy of having them in my life, and to open discussion with anyone who has, or wants to have, a dog. Bromley is the one on the left, Greta on the right. They are both female, half Black Lab, half Border Collie, who, as of November, 96, are 9 months old.

I firmly believe that dogs can raise the quality of one's life. They are a lot of work, but the rewards are endless. They are excellent companions through thick and thin, I highly recommend them. If you are thinking about getting one, you should check out, _The Art of Raising a Puppy_, and _How to be your Dog's Best Friend_, both by the Monks of New Skete. These books give you a good idea about how to go about getting a dog, and I like their positive emphasis on training a dog so you can spend as much time with them as possible
