la pajina del gecko

...explained.

OK- so, some of you out there have asked me "what's la pajina del gecko"? Well, it's really bad spanglish for "the gecko page". Which may just bring up the questions- what's a gecko? and why a gecko page?

A gecko is a small tropical/subtropical lizard with suction cup toes that let it climb up walls and such. For more on geckos, click on over to Heatherk's Gecko Page and explore away.

As to why I named my home page the gecko page- well I live in Austin, TX and my house is filled with geckos, which is great cause they eat insects and bugs, and if you've lived in Austin you know how many mosquitoes there are around here. So, I'm rather found of geckos (and I think they're cute in a reptilian sort of way), and this page was named in their honor (a dubious one at that).
