Krazy Kat holds a special place in my heart. It is a sublime experience to read these strips. If you are interested, I highly recommend a book edited by McDonnell and others, entitled, _Krazy Kat: The Comic Art of George Herriman_.. This book is full of writings about the strip, but more importantly, it contains a nice collection of the Krazy Kat strip itself.

I am currently scripting a performance around my experience with this comic strip. The performance will have slides of the strip and music from the Krazy Kat ballet composed by John Carpenter.
