Critiques/explorations of avatar virtual worlds built with blaxxun

Colony City is a blaxxun VRML world with some quite interesting social affordances. In particular, there is a very well defined social system, with a Constitution and various rules derived from it. In addition, there is a virtual economy in place, which allows citizens to have jobs in world, and to get paid in virtual cash. These various social affordances serve to give users a real sense of having a stake in, and belonging to this world.
